Remote, wild, and rugged, our North American fishing tours are just as much about the adventure as they are about the fish. Many of our partners and lodges are located in remote corners of the continent, allowing clients & guests to fish and experience the unspoiled wilderness from the Bahamas to Alaska. Fish for Brown Speckled Trout, Bonefish, Northern pike, Walleye, Salmon, Dolly Varden, and more. You dream it; Joe can plan it!
Alaska
Alaska is an angler’s paradise! It’s wild, beautiful, mystical, and rugged. One can enjoy the serenity of majestic mountains, stunning landscapes, and cool streams while catching king salmon, arctic grayling, or whitefish. You dream it – we plan it! Our guided fishing trips offer everything from itineraries fishing miles away from the nearest town at a rustic lodge to standing on the banks of the Kenai River catching the famed king salmon.
No matter which adventure you choose, taking a guided trip makes the logistics of a fishing trip in Alaska so much easier. You can join a group guided trip or plan your own private excursion. Here at Wildside Adventures, we partner with the best luxury fishing lodges in Alaska to make your trip a dream, both on and off the water!
Montana
Before heading into Montana on your guided fly-fishing trip, you might want to do some arm workouts! It’s not uncommon for our groups to reel in dozens of trout throughout the day. There’s no question you’ll work up an appetite on the water, so in the evening we’ll arrange a retreat to your private accommodations in the Big Sky wilderness. Our guided fishing trips in Montana aim to have a little bit of everything for our groups, from fishing (of course!) to relaxation, five-star meals, and experiencing true Montana wilderness.
Pennsylvania
It might not be your first thought when you think of the top fishing destinations in the United States, but there is something special about fall fishing in Pennsylvania. When you wake in the morning and the air is cool and the leaves are crunching, the fish are getting ready to bite. Our guided fishing trips in Pennsylvania offer some of the finest smallmouth bass fishing in the United States. On a nice fall day, it’s not uncommon for our clients to catch 40-60 bass in a day.
Pennsylvania is also not well known for its abundance of native brook and brown trout in the northern central part of the state. These vibrant fish are not large but are some of the most challenging and colorful fish on the planet. There are also countless stocked rainbow trout streams in the Keystone state that are very accessible to anglers.
North Carolina
If you’ve been dreaming of trout fly fishing in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, North Carolina is the place! We love bringing our clients to the picturesque town of Franklin for their guided fly-fishing trip. There are endless possibilities for fishing in this state, from brook trout to the striped bass. In Franklin, our guided fishing trips focus on river trout, specifically brook trout, rainbow trout, and brown trout. North Carolina is in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, which have some of the best rivers in the country for fly fishing. Sign up, start packing, and see you in the mountains!
