South Africa’s prime safari season runs from March through October. These months offer dry weather, cooler temperatures, and excellent wildlife viewing. Hunting conditions are also ideal during this time, as animals are more active and easier to track.

April through August are especially popular for both hunting and photo safaris. The climate is pleasant, with clear skies and fewer bugs. Wildlife tends to gather at watering holes, making this a perfect window for both action and photography.
